SECRETARY

Patricia Hein

secretary@aoshs.org

Patricia Hein was born on Scott AFB, IL as a brunette.  Prior to her father retiring from the USAF, she attended Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Misawa AFB, Japan and 3rd grade on McConnell AFB in Wichita , KS .  In 1967, her family moved to San Francisco , CA where she attended 4th through 7th grade in The City.  Her father was offered a civil service job in Stuttgart , Germany so off she went to live on Patch Barracks (European Command) in 1971.  Unfortunately, she had to return to the states after her junior year of high school.  She graduated from Seaside High School near Fort Ord , Monterey , CA in December 1975 – class of 1976!

Always a California resident, she attended Monterey Peninsula College where she received her AS degree in Data Processing, California State University Fresno, and received her BS degree in Computer Information Systems from Chapman University on Moffett Field NAS while beginning her career in the Aeronautics industry.

She has worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company in Sunnyvale , CA ; IBM Federal Systems Division in Sunnyvale , CA ; The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo , CA and then decided to move to the south.  She spent a couple of years in Pensacola , FL where she briefly worked at WEAR-ABC TV while surviving hurricanes Erin and Opal.  Since moving to the Atlanta , GA area, she has worked for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics currently supporting the C-130J, C-5M and F-22A programs.

True to brat form – she loves to travel and spend time with her overseas brat friends – sometimes crashing their reunions. She founded the Stuttgart/Ludwigsburg American High School Association in 1986, has been involved with Overseas Brats since the first gathering in 1987, and supported AOSHS from its inception.  Her other organization involvement has been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution since 1983.
